The China Lake Museum is proud to present a new lecture series: Hidden History. This lecture series will center around the hidden stories behind some of China Lake’s most important contributions to naval warfare. These stories will not only share the technical challenges faced in developing these capabilities, programmatic obstacles, but more importantly, anecdotes seldom captured in formal histories. The lectures will highlight the determination and the risks China Lake engineers and leaders have taken to deliver cutting-edge capabilities to our warfighters when the bureaucracy was often not interested or motivated to embrace these concepts.
