Aircraft Restoration

No experience needed, Join us!

Volunteers needed to help restore "Hornet 1" currently out front of the Museum

The plane to be restored is the first McDonnell-Douglas F/A-18A Hornet first flown November 1978 - St. Louis, MO and its Last recorded flight was 31 Mar 1988 in China Lake CA. 

The current plan is to restore this aircraft museum aircraft by April 2018.


A Flightline (F) or North Range (N) pass is required.

All PPE and Safety Gear will be provided, steel toe boot/shoes recommended.
