Mark the date, on Monday the AV-8B Harrier will be joining the outdoor exhibits at the Museum!

Santa's Art Shop
Just a quick announcement to say we will be participating in Sant’s Art Shop as a vendor! We hope to see you there!
Big events for the holidays!
We have a multitude of exciting event coming up for the holiday season!
First off, a Black Friday special! Deals on many potential Christmas gifts, and our new chocolate as well!
Secondly Rocket the elf will be visiting the store all the way to Christmas to scout gifts for Santa! If you find him while he is here a special reward will be yours! He is crafty though; he will change spots every day!
Finally on the day after Black Friday we will be additionally participating in Shop Small Business Saturday! Different deals but the same great spot to shop!
We are still a toys for tots drop-off location as well! We hope you enjoy Thanksgiving and wish you a happy holidays!

Picasso Community Class
Students learned of Picasso’s portrait and surrealist styles, as well as cubist techniques!

This class introduced participants to planes as well as potential future careers in aviation.

Students had a wonderful time learning of Gustav Klint’s symbolist style and even creating their own works based on his techniques!

Toys for Tots Charity
The China Lake Museum is a Toys for Tots drop-off location! Bring unwrapped gifts to help the Marine Corp’s mission to bring joy to economically disadvantaged children this Christmas!
Additionally, you may pick up drop-off boxes here as well. Optionally, monetary donations can be made toward the charity; we will donate gifts in your stead. Any bit of help is appreciated!

Each participant will create 2 artwork pieces based off of American expressionist painter Mark Rothko.
