The China lake Museum will be hosting an art class based on Mark Rothko on August 26th. Mark Rothko is associated with the abstract movement and painted field of colors intended to invoke emotions in the viewer.

On September 9th, the China lake Museum will be hosting a special art class where students will create art on magnet tiles to then take home!

All materials for the class will be provided by the museum; all you need to bring is your creativity! We hope to see you there!

On September 16th, the China Lake Museum will be hosting an Introduction to Rocket Science class!

This class aims to educate students of the inner working of rockets and give them some hands-on experience with the characteristic being rocket flight! Students will use an air compressor to launch a rocket as well as a simulator for a more realistic experience!

On October 14th the China Lake Museum will host a Heartland art class about Edvard Munch! A Norwegian artist who focused his works on symbolism and expressionism, seeking to evoke feelings and ideas in the viewer through his art.

The Museum will provide all materials necessary for the class; students only need to bring their creativity! We Hope to see you there!
