On April 11th Heartland Charter Schools chose the China Lake Museum as a fun field trip destination!
We capped off the field trip with a successful rocket launch as well!

Heartland at Kerr Mcgeee
The China lake Museum was invited to the Kerr McGee center to provide entertainment during a break for students taking their state testing!

Small update on the exhibit hall! we have begun moving exhibits from the base site to our current location!

Rocket Range test run on February 28th
On February 28th we hosted the Secret City Rocket Range test run here at the China Lake Museum!

WACOM Pop-up event
On February 28th, the China lake Museum hosted the WACOM thrift store in a pop-up store to provide access off the base!

Henri Matisse Kids Community Class

On February 11th the China lake Museum hosted the Heartland-approved Hokusai art class!
China lake Museum will continue to provide learning opportunities for students of all ages!
Immanuel 3rd and 4th grade Field Trip
Immanuel Christian School chose our museum as one of the destinations for their 3rd and 4th grade field trip on January 30th.
We appreciate the support and will endeavor to remain a place of learning for students of all ages.
Van Gogh Adult art class
on Jan. 29th the China lake Museum hosted its first Adult-oriented art class with Van Gogh!

Van Gogh Kids Art Class
Students learned about Van Gogh and created their own artwork based of Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

Michelangelo Heartland class
