On July 29th the China lake Museum will host a Children’s Paul Klee art class aimed for students from 4 -18 years old.
Paul Klee was a very particularly individualistic artist, not conforming easily to any particular school of art but rather creating his own blend of styles. We hope to see you there!

The China lake Museum will be hosting an art class based on Mark Rothko on August 26th. Mark Rothko is associated with the abstract movement and painted field of colors intended to invoke emotions in the viewer.

To start off our month of September the China Lake Museum is hosting an art class based on Van Gogh to create magnet tiles! The artworks will be on ceramic tiles using oil painting, to be dried and preserved with an acrylic spray to be picked up as a magnet later!
While the tile will be the main focus, we hope students will feel free to paint as they desire and enjoy this unique opportunity to experience something new! We hope to see you there!
